Case Study: Quirky Fox

The Client
Vicki from Quirky Fox has built a successful boutique gallery and framing business in South Taranaki. Quirky Fox has a good online presence with a website, popular Instagram page and five-weekly e-newsletters. Vicki has dabbled in traditional media but struggled with not being able to measure the results and know if ‘it worked’.

Objective
Vicki is keen to grow the framing side of her business and felt digital advertising would be the most efficient way to go. Being a visual sort of service she knew anything that made it easy for people to get to her website to see what she had to offer would be the answer. She also knew she had the processes set up to ensure a customer’s journey from ad to website to engaging her service would flow nicely.

Method
Vicki was aware of the power of Google Ads but was having trouble carving out the time to learn the nitty gritty of how to set a campaign up and was curious about the actual costs. She had a couple of Google Ads training sessions, which gave her the confidence to give it a go, and quickly felt confident to manage her account finding the process of setting up and monitoring Google Ads logical and cost effective.

Result
Immediately Vicki observed more foot traffic in store, more phone calls and more people using the online quoting system on her website. One customer even said: “I didn’t know you did framing until I googled it” which brought her Google Ad analytics to life!

Added benefits
What was also a useful product of her Google Ads was the knowledge that her prices are competitive and the request a quote form on her website ‘worked’ as most users converted off the form. Vicki also noticed website users spent more time on her site and many signed up for her newsletters from her website ‘pop up’ prompt.

What’s next
Vicki loves being able to set her budget and turn the ads on and off to suit her workflow.
