With a new region-wide recycling contract in place and pressure to get more people recycling more things more often, what could Taranaki’s three councils do to get more buy-in from residents?

The team in charge of rolling out the new recycling contract were bold – they embraced our idea to create a beautiful look and feel for the recycling project, something the whole region could relate to, be proud of and own.

Recycling a look

A bold, bright Taranaki yellow combined with intricate detail referencing nature was applied to three types of rubbish and recycling trucks and recycled across bins, various print and promotional material, signage and even the walls of the viewing room at the recycling depot.
